Our Club
Membership is open to all Mornington Peninsula residents and property owners.
Dirt bike riders on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula have a safe area to ride – right in the shadows of BHP Steel’s Western Port steelworks. The Hastings motorcycle track is maintained and operated by the Association under a lease with BlueScope and a Planning Permit from the Mornington Peninsula Shire.
The track is for non-competitive riding with the emphasis on providing families a safe environment for their children to ride motorcycles.
We have three tracks:
– Senior track for advanced riders.
– Junior track for young or inexperienced riders (no age limit).
– Beginners track for those starting out.
Our club is an affiliate of Motorcycling Australia
Our Tracks
We have three tracks catering for all levels of riders skill.
Designed for experienced riders of all ages
Fast flowing track with a good mix of technical sections
Caters for all levels of rider skill
Designed for high visability
Can be riden by younger riders on small bikes
Junior Track
1 kilometre long
4 metres wide
Clay all weather surface
Riders under 18 MUST be supervised by a parent
No age limit, limit is 150cc 4 stroke and 85cc 2 stroke
for junior riders
This track has a little of everything found on larger motocross tracks including shaped berms on the turns, jumps, a table top and some whopps. It has enough variety for the younger riders, good visability of what is ahead and plenty of room to pass.
Parents can supervise on the track, but must wear a high vis vest.
Beginners Track
230 metre long loop
4 metres wide
Clay all weather surface
for those starting out
Easy for parents to supervise.
We designed a C shaped loop with a little of everything on a motorcross track. It has its own entrance, yet feels part of the larger junior track.
The surface is identical to the junior track so that they will feel comfortable when they move on to the larger track.
